The Golden Moon is Pearl River Resort’s most impressive visual landmark. This resort’s main water feature is a series of choreographed show fountains that surround the entire front of the building. At over a football field in length, the main water curtain is a one-of-a-kind attraction on its own, yet is also the background for the water show. Another unique element here is the main water display consisting of a series of 6-inch lake cascade nozzles pushing a large volume of water up to 60 breath-taking feet in height. The water show consists of one long, meandering water feature that is divided into 5 separate parts to allow viewers to walk into the casino through the feature. With over 460 vertical high speed jets, 16 leaping laminar effects, and more than 800 lights all connected to a custom designed central computer system, the feature boasts some ‘worlds first’ design elements.

Included within the project are two of the hotels guest swimming pools, one interior and one exterior. The exterior pool, complete with a wet deck entry and a small water feature of its own, is positioned at the very end of the musical features. Users can relax by the pool and see the fountains come to life.
ADE provided services for the fountains. These services included: hydraulic, filtration and feature pumping systems, chemical systems, underwater lighting, electrical control systems, and utility coordination services.
