Project Description:
The fountains at the Calgary International Airport were designed as a tribute to the wilderness of Alberta. Welcoming travelers from all over the world, the fountains showcase two popular sports in Calgary: rock climbing and sport fishing. The two features include water walls, misting fog, and spouting nozzles that help visitors experience Alberta’s great outdoors. For this project’s public space water features, ADE provided hydraulic, structural, filtration, and chemical system design and engineering services.
