Design Phases
Below is a listing of the phases of design that we offer. Click on the phase name to read a short description about the phase
-
Conceptual Design
During Concept Design, ADE transforms ideas into possibilities. Taking simple hand sketches, reference photographs, and creative descriptions, ADE transforms these ideas into reality and brings a project to life using creative visual animations and renders.
-
Schematic Design
Schematic Design begins the transformation of a concept into documentation. Ideas are refined, scale is determined, major components are identified, and preliminary opinions of cost begin to take shape.
-
Design Development / Detail Design
Design Development furthers the understanding of design elements including the architectural, mechanical, and electrical system designs. The implementation of these key design areas allows for construction budgets to be largely determined based on major items.
-
Construction Documents
Construction Documents provide the necessary information for a contractor to build the aquatic feature. The drawings are combined with a written specification to prevent error during the construction phase of a project.
-
Construction Administration
ADE performs submittal and shop drawing reviews as well as onsite observations during the Construction Administration phase to ensure that the design intent is followed.
